Hey!...no tequila or ammo shortage here. In fact I'm reloading .308 ammo right now.

And Jaymar...we accept no thin-skinned malingerers on this forum...except for that dan888 guy I mentioned on my other post.

Let me know when you are coming down this way. We can get together for some off road riding. There are a lot of trails, state land, and a gravel pit. I'll get some friends together as well.

Hey guys. I'm new here. I just picked up an 06 klx 250 at the right price. Completely stock. The guy I bought it from just rode it to work and back to save on gas. I'm gonna use it as a dirt bike only. Wanna get back into some trail riding. As I've noticed after a few rides its weak. Ordered a FMF slipon, A DJ kit(300 KLX same carb I learned), and a 13t cs spr. Any other mods you recommend?

Coop, you really need to read a bunch of the other threads to get a clear picture of all the beneficial mods. They are probably way too numerous to restate on every new thread when the question arises...as it does often. Not giving you a hard time whatsoever, but we all have a little different take on the "recommendations" that any given KLX owner should do.

The KLX is a great bike with lots of potential. Recommendations will range from leaving it bone stock to installing a 351, pumper carb, cams, and the kitchen sink. My general recommendation is that you start where you are now and see how it works for your type of riding and preference.

Thanks for the reply CC. The more I read I see your point. Quess it depends on how much you need and the $ your willing to spend. With what I'm doing and just getting back into riding it should be plenty enough to have some fun. Really looking forward to it. Enjoying these forums. Alot of great informational stuff.
