What a difference !!!!!
Thanks for the reply CC. The more I read I see your point. Quess it depends on how much you need and the $ your willing to spend. With what I'm doing and just getting back into riding it should be plenty enough to have some fun. Really looking forward to it. Enjoying these forums. Alot of great informational stuff.
I took a 14 year break from bikes and the KLX was my choice. I'm a dual sport kinda guy I guess. All my vehicles are off-road capable, so a dualsport bike made sense. Other than a bash plate and lever guards, my bike is stock. I don't need to be fast and I don't ride with anyone but my kids so I don't know any better. Still having fun after 2 years.
Summer heat? Believe it or not we haven't exceeded 86 degrees for the last 2 days here and won't exceed 90 until the weekend. I had to put my long underwear on...Brrrrrrrr!
It's been crazy here on the coast. We hit 78°! Looks like the rest of the week and weekend will be nice...

I almost had my wife convinced that a new battery in her scooter was gonna cost $600 bucks. I talked myself out of it and came clean. I'm not ready to deal with a melted turn signal anyway. Maybe next year.
