I took a 14 year break from bikes and the KLX was my choice. I'm a dual sport kinda guy I guess. All my vehicles are off-road capable, so a dualsport bike made sense. Other than a bash plate and lever guards, my bike is stock. I don't need to be fast and I don't ride with anyone but my kids so I don't know any better. Still having fun after 2 years.

This summer heat must be getting to TNC. His posts aren't making any sense.

Summer heat? Believe it or not we haven't exceeded 86 degrees for the last 2 days here and won't exceed 90 until the weekend. I had to put my long underwear on...Brrrrrrrr!

I've been watching that heat out in the far west...brutal. Last week we were over 100 for several days which isn't uncommon in this part of Texas, but 80's is definitely uncommon. And I ain't complaining.

Really I could deal with the 115 day, but usually at night it at least drops below 100. There is just no relief

I almost had my wife convinced that a new battery in her scooter was gonna cost $600 bucks. I talked myself out of it and came clean. I'm not ready to deal with a melted turn signal anyway. Maybe next year.
