Air filters clog up, foam or K&N. When the K&N clogs you can take it off and tap it on a hard surface and most of the dirt will fall off, then you can reinstall and keep going.

K&N filters require a certain regimen for them to operate at peak efficiency. Reoiling is sometimes required when the dirt wicks away the oil. They work well enough for racing and that is an excellent recommendation.

The warranty is nice also. I have returned 3 K&N filters that bulged out on the end and they sent me new ones. The filters were over 8 years old... try that with any foam filter.

Its a street and trail bike its made to be ridden on AND offroad. So don't get all smart allecky on me. And don't say this is a dirtbike with lights because even though it may look it, its still got a long way to go to performing like one. Its exactly what it is 50% on and 50% off.
