It stalled almost immediately after I was out of the water. it would start back up but as soon as I put a load on it(let the clutch out) it would die. it was acting more like the ignition got wet.

I did not realize it sucked in water until I got home and noticed the oil level was considerably higher.

We are supposed to get our first snow fall today so needless to say I am not riding. time to put it on the stand and find my leak..

It seems to me that one of the mods someone came up with was a PVC valve in the crankcase vent line that allowed the crankcase to vent but stopped water from running back down the hose into the engine.

Hey deej, I had to look where Reiter was at, never heard of it. I did some riding not to far from there around wenatchee, up on the Entiat river. Great scenery big mosquitoes. Any way I'm always open to a good ride just holler.
