Default Two Brothers M7 -- melting "issues" on 2009+ ?

Okay, I’ve been reading though numerous threads on the available exhausts for the 250SF (2009+) so I’ve got some VERY specific requests for information. I did ask this in my original thread when I bought the bike but wanted to have a stand-alone thread on this subject.

I’m interested in either the Two Brothers M7 exhaust or the FMF Q4 exhaust for my 2009 KLX250SF. It seems there are some issues with the Q4 as detailed in this thread: https://www.kawasakiforums.com/forum...ad.php?t=31429

Specific to the Two Brothers M7 and the 2009+ model year of the 250S and/or 250SF, with no modifications to the tail end and are using the stock header:

1. Have you incurred any fitment issues with the Two Brothers M7 that has resulted in the bike’s plastics melting?

2. Have you incurred any issues with the turn signal melting since installing the Two Brothers exhaust?

Again, please only post information if you have a completely stock set-up on your 2009+ 250S or 250SF bike (no header and no tail modification).

Finally, if you have experienced other issues than those two I have mentioned above, please post.

Thanks.

ugh.. sorry to hear that Pete.

Well I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the Two Brothers M7 along with the P1-X sound suppressor. See how it works out for me.

You may be running a little lean. Mine used to melt my Edge signal till I got the bike running good.
