I'm going to go ahead and say I'll take $2,400 for the bike, and that's it.. If I can't get that, it stays with me till the bloody end!

If you still think that price is high, go buy a moped!

You should be able to get $2400 for it. Heck, where I live you could probably get closer to $3k here. I see 2005 KLR's with 10,000 miles going for $4k.

Around here bikes don't sell for as cheap as they must everywhere else. I can't believe some of the prices people were throwing out.

I would have laughed in their face if someone offered me $1000.

wow CL, you have ridden that thing hard. Glad that it is a capable machine and has proven itself to your needs. Good luck on the sale

i am surprised about the comments of it being ridden hard, but I guess not many have ridden Pachaug , which I know CL has (i haven't ridden with him, but have ridden with some of the guys he has - one of these days I will make one of those camp and rides).

anyway, I guess i will never show pictures of my '09 on here, because it gets ridden in the woods too...

Who have you ridden with that i know, jxg?
and yes, the bike has blemishes because... brace yourselves... I RIDE THE THING.
I think most of the comments are from people who buy the bike then spend more time polishing it than they do actually riding it.
i couldnt care less about scratches on a dirt bike, i care about it starting and running 100% every time i need it - and that it does.

I think scrubbing the dirt off the wheels and seat would help the aesthetics of the bike. Thats the first thing that caught my eye in the pictures.
