How many CI is that engine & is a 2 or 4 stroke?
Drag racing a 4x4 is misapplication of toys.
Does the bed have any scratches in it?

4x4 is a better way to put down the torque of that vehicle without heavy modifications making it looks like a rail, there's typically no weight in the bed, the 4x4 helps pull even if you get a little tire slip. Traction is traction.

Size for size, a torqueless 2 stroke will just about always beat a 4 stroke in a drag

KMX125's here will spank an XR200 in a race, but you have to be in first gear with a KMX when riding two up on a trail uphill

Well, there are varying degrees of the definition and design of AWD and 4WD...but you may already know that. Many/most 4WD pickups you drive really only drive 2 wheels at a time with the more common open-differentials they come with. Stick one of the many locking, semi-locking, or ARB style kits into the diffs, and then you have real 4WD. And with AWD, you have so many designs out there that you really have to get specific about how each works.

WHOAA , lets back this horse-n-buggy up. It's all about whether or not you have a 2 speed transfer case. Almost nothing does now days. Those that don't usually get called AWD. Those that do usually get called 4wd. Anyone that says they go 4 wheeling with AWD doesn't go 4 wheeling like I do. Think otherwise and I'll see you on Engineer or Black Bear pass.

The picture has the 4x4 on the drag strip, up against a AWD vehicle...
