Default Truck ramp recommendations?

Any recommendations for a truck ramp? I've tried two different ramps from harbor freight but both were too short (6' ft I believe) to easily load by myself. The 3 section, extra wide was easier but felt flimsy.

I like the idea of the weight of the matrix concepts plastic ramp ($125 shipped), but I wonder about how long it will hold up.

What are you guys using that works well?

I use a tri-fold 6 footer for 4 wheelers and bikes it was fine until I got my super duty and now it's a little short and I need to back up to a hill to keep it from being scary at that length.

This thread reminded me of this video. I love how there is always a group of people watching these epic failures.

this kit has treated me well for a few years now. Attach to any length 2x8, 2x10 or 2x12 you want for a total of less than $50.

Although, I've had my eye on a Ready Ramp bed extender for ever and have heard great things about them.

check out discount ramps...lots of good options.

Based on all those videos I cheat. I get help loading and have a decent folding ramp. Now I lowered the truck with a 3/4 drop making it easier yet since I can step up into the bed - but still get help. And finally now I really cheated - I got a 5x10 foot enclosed trailer with a drop ramp back door, floor D rings, and a side door to stuff junk in front too.

Wife and I made a deal splitting the cost - she will use it to haul her crafts bins in the months of Oct-Nov. It gives her the ability to carry all her stuff and lock it up for storage during the week. Then I have it for any bike stuff as well as winter storage for the rider mower, some lawn furniture, and the push mower.
