Trail tech vapor for KLX250

The basic unit is the same for everyone, most kits require cutting a radiator hose for water temp (good place for a leak). You can order a water temp sensor form Trail Tech that will screw into the bleeder bolt on your radiator. The panel mounting kit is for 7/8" bars only.
Mounting the speed sensor can be fun, don't be afraid to drill another hole on the mounting flange for fitment/magnet alignment. I need to load a pic in my PB account that shows a KLX300 installation.
Be sure to route wires to prevent snagging or crushing.
BTW, use heat shrink tubing when you wrap the tach wire. Much better than electrical tape.
Good unit, just wish the back lighting was red for night riding.

Not sure where you're located, did some riding like that when I was stationed in Thailand. During 'Water Festival' my buddy was following a truck full of kids. They would hold the bottom off plastic bags full of water and douse everyone they could. Well, one kid let go of a full bag and it nailed my buddy in the chest. If his legs hadn't caught the bars, he would've rolled off the bike. Should've seen the kids cheering when he saved it.

Hard to tell from your pic, often depends on available space behind the number plate. If the provided bar mounts don't work, then you'll have to improvise a mount. I use 1/8" thermo form plastic called Kydex. Similar material is available. It's simple to form with a heat gun. Watch the mounting angle, the face plate reflections will blot out the LCD display.
If you want to keep neutral, turn signal and temp indicators then get the Trail Tech bezel. It clips onto the Vapor.
My Vapor kits were from Epay, still had to get temp sensors and bezels from Trail Tech.
