I got 2000 miles from my C858 before giving it to a buddy to finish off his 72 Kawi F11 2 stroke, still had a little over 1/4" of tread in the center and nearly full side *****. Good pavement tire and great for trail running but it gave up in the really deep slop. I honestly can't find fault with my Trackmaster 2 in the100/100-18 size. It's wearing well at 1700 miles and has all kinds of grip off road. I've heard reports of it being a "scary" pavement tire, and heard that it can really walk in a corner due to side **** flex. I could actually see it walk/flex when following my buddy on his XR650L. Maybe its the 20 HP difference between it and the KLX or weight, or that he has the 120 size but I don't find any of the above negative traits. My tires are worn right to the tip of the side ***** and they feel very planted on the pavement, which is very surprising given the tread pattern.

I Still run ur old trackmaster tire on my honda and the same one from the pine berrens on the klx... and they leave nice deep dark lines on blacktop

 

Ask DivoDave what he thinks of the cheing shin tire. I am also running the trackmasters in the 110 rear size. I too find that road handling is better than I thought it would be.

 

I got about 900 miles before it was almost gone now at 1100 miles there is about 1/8th tread left on the middle.
