Time for a street bike!!
I don't want this to be a flame war over Ninja 250's. (That's not what this post is even about.) But sure, it would be great just for comparison's sake to put them up against each other. If I had known two years in advance that Kawasaki would completely makeover the 250R, I would have definitely waited to purchased one over the 'downright hideous' 250 I currently ride. As I said before, I totally agree with you about the new 250R being better in almost every possible way.

That husky is nice, but remember we are talking about a street bike that is not like the KLX. And while that Husky is out of this world crazy awesome, that seat looks no more comfortable than the KLX, but maybe when you can go twice as fast as the KLX then the seat wouldn't be an issue.[8D]
Here is what you really want.
Comfortable for a sportbike and plenty fast! I rode my KLX all last year and while I love it and can't wait to hit the trails this year, there is no comparison to a nice street bike. I have just over 250 miles on it and love it!!! Couldn't have picked up a nicer streetbike.

Well I came home with two new bikes after work today. A 250 and 650 ninja both 07's.
I road the 650 home today. I had to think long and hard between the two bikes (klr and ninja). I guess what it came down to is that I allready have a dual sport and I know that the KLR is a good street bike . I just couldn't see were I would every take it offroad.
I have the KLX for that . Thanks for all your input.
