I usually agree. But after 8 hrs of riding, and joining oilfield traffic (LOTS of 18 wheelers) I needed to cruise at 70-75mph to keep from getting run over.

Got lucky with the trip. over 1,100 miles and besides bugs the only thing I hit was a bird. Had a guy pass me goin through the hill country, top of the hill saw brake lights and the remains of a deer go flying off the side of the road.
