It's claimed that by drilling the vacuum port on the slide ot 7/64ths, you will improve the throttle response. I already drilled mine, but haven't put it back together and tested it. 7/64th is only aobut 1/32 larger than the stock opening. I drilled it out by hand. The slide is thermoset molded plastic.
