I went with the standard air box version. If you look at the link I provided earlier, they require you toenlarge the air lid to 85x105mm. The carb was shipped to me with the funnel adapter installed, but he Std air box adapterwas included inthe package. Switching adapters was easy though..only 4 hex bolts holding them on.

It seems Yoshimura has 3 different models for this carb. See link... One with a funnel intake, one with a filtered intake and one that uses the standard airbox. Tremor38, if you don't mind me asking, which one did you go with? If I can order it, I'll go with the standard air box one since I take the bike off road.

Any advice on performance cams would be helpful. I am thinking of doing the cams at the same time as the 331cc big bore.

Just over $600.00 USD
About the same price Jerry a FSW charges for pre-jetted FCR35. If I were in the U.S. I would probably go with the FCR35 because the support is closer.

With Yoshimura carb in Japan, all I need to do is go to the local Kawi dealer.
