I have an 09 klx250sf 1870 miles no problems great condition want to go off road I'm either interested in getting a set of 18/21 or would prefer to trade whole bike for an s. It just seems a better way to go if someone else is looking to trade to an sf

I wanted to add that a while back, a couple guys on here did exactly this. They met and traded bikes straight up. Much easier than trying to convert your bike into something it isnt.

If you own the bike outright yeah that might be an option. But really, what are the differences? Not all that much. Get the dirt wheels, put springs and valves in the forks, and upgrade your rear shock and spring and you've basically got an S, only better than a stock S because the suspension's been done.
