Evening all, I've got a 1995 klx250r (d) , it-s my first decent bike and it shreds. It's got a 5spd box but I'd much prefer the 6spd box for dual sporting, is it possible to put the 6Spdbox in there?? Thanks a lot, Rick

 

It's possible, but at what cost?
Just get a new 300! it would be cheaper.

 

Or buy another used 250 or 300 engine with the six speed from ebay.

 

I gotta 1996 KLX250R D also. I gotta rebuild the motor & restore everything on it. I have all the plastics, but someone put sandpaper to every plastic. I can't find anywhere to get some new ones.
