Yup, I've got one...

Here's a sound clip...

In the video, it may seem loud, but really isn't. Last fall I rode with a guy that had a KLX300 exhaust with the butt plug removed on his KLX250s. My SuperTrapp was about as loud, though it had a different sound. Mine has a quiet core, and I'm using all 12 discs.

Glad I could help. If I had to do it over again, I would have gone your route - get a universal and make the mid-pipe. It would have saved me about 100 bucks.

Years ago I had a race core IDS2 on a DR650. With 18 discs, it wasn't loud, it was obnoxious! It was bearable with 8 discs, but that negated most of the benefit of the exhaust. I ended up switching to a quiet core, and with 12 discs, actually picked up bottom-end power over the race core (or so it felt to me). I left for work at 5:30 in the morning though, so I had to keep the noise down to please the neighbors.

by obnoxious do you mean an ungodly roar that sounds good or do you mean an ungodly roar that doent diserve to be heard...? cus loudness is not an issue with me but the sound is what im looking to improve over the stock mufflet with plug removed...
