I can't help you on either seats, but do you use some kind of back support

Welcome to KF.

I have Herniated discs in lower and mid back, I have tried supports but that does nothing for a hard seat

This seat is like an MX seat hard, and need something i little wider and softer.

Then this seat will help. The comfort comes because it is slightly wider than stock, spreading your weight over a larger area and it doesn't cause you to 'dig in'. But as far as your herniated discs, I would say that has to do with sitting position. I find I can sit farther back on the seat concepts seat than stock. Also, maybe consider raising the handle bars for a better posture??
Lastly you may want to play with the rear suspension to soften it. Hopefully you will find a solution to your back pain.

Well I think I might just get the darn seat anyway if it made that big a difference because I cant ride it the way it is, Since I dont have a stapler I might just order the entire seat. I got the bike for my kids to ride anyway.. my riding/ racing days were done years ago with this back injury I have... I will just putt around town now and then or a lite trail and thats it for me.
