Default Replacement seat covers and foam

I know I can go with a custom seat but, ~$400 is just too much. I have been looking at Guts Racing products.

How much taller is the "TALL" seat? I find the factory seat foam to be too soft so, how "hard" should I go? I don't want a KTM seat that feels like I'm sitting on a board but, it needs to be firm enough to prevent my bottom from hitting the frame when I ride on the street (rough asphalt roads). I'm probably about 200 pounds with normal riding gear.

Thanks!

Sid,

I think Finger Mullet put on the Guts foam and cover. I remember reading about it because somebody else had a problem getting the cover back on right, something about using the wrong type of staple, and FM set them straight.

Maybe he'll see this and chime in. If not, those posts are out there somewhere.
