can anyone let me know if the exhaud mod makes a big difference and is the carb work different if you keep the stock exhaust, also read on a thread something about drilling out a baffle on stock exhaust...i too just bought an 06 klx250 and feel the need for some more power low end...

You will notice a tiny bit more power with exhaust. It's nothing major by any means though.

Best bang for buck is big bore kit. If you don't want to do that, exhaust, foam filter, jet kit, and 13t front sprocket is decent combo.

if i was too do the carb-foam-exhaust sprocket idea and found it "taint enough" and proceded to bore kit would exhaust pipe still work?? will current carb still mount up and i assume may need some more rejetting again??

The 351cc Big Bore engine produces great power and
torque also using the stock carb and pipe.

The 351cc Big Bore produces great power and
improved torque output.
It also delivers much improved throttle response
with our Mikuni carb.
This test run we used a Supertrapp muffler.

HP 26.55 Torque 21.11 ft lb
