13 tooth front sprocket, and pull the cover off the air box.
Then after its broken in, get a slip on muffler

vortex throttle, handguards, bigger fuel tank, either smaller front sprocket, or longer chain and larger rear sprocket.

+ 1 on the 13 tooth, open up the air in and the exhaust out. Jetting and your good to go.

First mod is get yourself some good riding gear if you don't have any. Motorcross boots, chest protector are a must. Knee and elbow pads are also inexpensive. If you ride in the woods even if you don't ride behind anyone a chest protector will help keep a stick from puncturing a lung.

I gotta go with 2k on this unless ya already got some good gear. Never mind a stick to the lung, how about a simple endo and a hard handle bar to the chest....ooohhh that hurts Chest plate for sure, along with elbow and knee pads.....boot and helmet are obvious.

But first mods on the 09 may not require a 13 tooth sprocket, different tranny than the 06-07 versions ....perhaps just a rejet, open airbox and new exhaust of your choice.

Oh pics of the new ride are reqd.
