Speaking of riding weather, last Sunday's enduro started out a little chilly for our pro and other riders but warmed up nicely and with lots of sun. When apologizing for the cold start in the morning to our visiting pros, they quickly reminded us of how balmy and pleasant our current weather was compared to where most of these guys had just come from...snow, ice, and blizzards. I guess it was a good day to ride.

Deej - Shame on you for neglecting that bike all winter. Hope you didn't treat your kids that way too...

Hey, wait, is that a spot of *DIRT* I see on your bike in that picture... ???

Speaking of registering... I have already cancelled my insurance and will not be registering for highway use this year - OHV only ($35 vs. almost $200). Thanks to Obummer's out of control spending habits, I'm being "voluntold" to hand him 20% of my paycheck every week, through the end of September. I will have every Friday off (without pay, of course) so hopefully I'll be doing a lot more dirt riding this summer.

$200?...is that annual or a multi-year reg?

I knew we were going to be called monkeys.

Snow is melting now, 40's, but we were supposed to be out last weekend cutting trail for an April 7th DS ride. Postponed to the 14th now.

I was ball-parking the whole tab...

One year registration ($53), inspection ($9), plus there's an age-based vehicle tax ($70 something), and then there's the cost of a year's insurance ($86).

OHV reg will only be $56.

I think the running the carb dry thing is still the most suggested, best choice, even if you have trick chemistry in your fuel thing to do I hear from people to keep the carb from needing carbioplasty.
