Default Works Shocks

Today I ordered new Works Performance rear shocks today. They are the racer pigy back model and with my 10% discount by being a member at ZRXOA the coast was $619 dollars plus shiping. Im going to love them ther lighter ,and custom built to my weight. So much beeter than the stock ones.

Sandy at WORKS called to day saying he finshed the enginering. These babys are special special order 5 weeks on order fill cause 1 to 2 weeks for computer eng. then 2 to 3 for build test and shiping. Two weeks longer than the norm cause they are 13 3/4" center to center instead of 14 3/8 " center to center. My weight with full gear 135 lb and the bike 490 lb wet with full tank of gas. They said I am way light along with the bike compared to stock weight of 543 wet. They will also be 4.75 lb a piece compared to the stockers that weigh 7.25 each. There shocks usualy weigh 5.25 but cause spring dif and shorter they will be lighter than the norm build. Let you Know how it goes.

Yesterday called Works to see how the order was going. I was on hold 5 minutes then told they were being packed right then and would ship by noon pafic time. I called the bank a 2 central standard time and the card had been charged for the amount of the shocks. they should be here by thur or friday next week. That is so cool cause the order was supose to take 4 to 6 weeks and now they will be at my door in 3 weeks instead. Total price $620.10 plus shiping 15.25= $635.35 . I will post pics of them when they get here.

I wish I had some extra cash for this mod. That price doesn't sound that bad either. Let me know if it makes a big difference over stock. (I'm sure it will but details are always nice!)

Well you all heard me say I was getting em. Here they are 4lb 5.3 oz each shock the stockers were 6.2 lb each. they are so smooth cant wait for saturday. Notice the one pic showing new and old side by side look at the length diffrence. Had em made to 13 3/4" instead of the stock length 14 1/8" center to center.
