Default Sta-Bil Fuel additive

As the cold weather approaches, I bet we will hear more and more of the hard start after sitting complaint. Our winters are mild and short here in NC but I still had the hard start problem after 1 week of not starting my KLX. Then I started using Sta-Bil and never had the problem again. Even through the summer, I put 1/2 ounce in every few tanks or so. This stuff is fantastic! I use it in my weed Whacker and lawn mowers and they all start flawlessly even after weeks/months of sitting. At 6 or 7 dollars a bottle it's real cheap insurance against dead batteries. Alot easier than turning off the fuel and running it dry after every ride too.

Yeah, Ive been using that stuff for a couple of years, and have never had a problem with fuel. I haven't run it in my bike, living in FLA one doesn't let the bike sit for more than a couple of weeks (stupid hurricanes). I do use it in my hurricane fuel for my generator and in my lawn mower in the winter time. Its worth the couple of bucks it costs.

Good stuff- I use it in my weedwhacker and lawnmower in the fall so it's ready for winter storage. I think it does the trick- no varnish or hard starting next spring.
