Default slip on muzzy

has anyone got the slip on muzzy? if so i think i heard somewhere that you dont need to re jet or mess with the carb is this true? im not looking for more power as im only 5'6' and 140lbs im just looking to get rid of the moped sound and have someting a little more beefy sounding. all that carb work and re jetting looks like a real PITA. ill leave that to all u guys who want more power, im not racing anyone on this bike. my riding will be mostly desert and back and forth to work. if it already goes fast enough to kill me, then thats fast enough. cant wait to tear off the chainguard, seat strap, rear fender extender and reflectors. if u have the slip on and didnt do any carb work let me know. thx scott

I'm not racing on this bike either, but when I go endo over the bars because I could not get the front wheel up over a log that was in my way in the trail, well, there you go, it pretty much explains itself.

okay this bike will bring the wheel up in first and second gear but it takes alot of throttle. With the new 13/45 sprocket and full system with the dyno kit.. wow... ride the back wheel all day if your that talented.

about the muzzy slip on.. I read that the slip on version will not fit so I canceled my order and went with the full system. Best decision Since buying the bike. They said that it was to short by about 1/2 inch. However, when I installed the full system I noticed that the muffler and the midsection will fit with the stock headpipe. So the slip on version must have a shorter midsection pipe. But this is your call... I would do some more research or just spring for the full kit. good luck

Ya, I'm telling you that you have to jump on the pegs, gun the throttle, and pull up the handle bars to get it up in 1st and 2nd, but 3rd will be really freakin hard. Sooo, when riding in the woods and you come to a log, you will really have to work alot harder then usual to get that front wheel up, if your in 3rd get in your superman position and get ready to fly as your front wheel hits the log, of course this is only if you see the log after you round a corner or something, cause hittin a log in 3rd gear is pretty darned fast.
