Glad you are having fun on your bike. I am just waiting out hte weather, so that it will be worthwhile insuring my bike. Looks like nice riding territory. How are the 606s holding up and how do they handle on the road?

Well yesterday SUCKED, the sun never came out and it never got above 50, instead of the forecasted low 60s. We never warmed back up after the ride to the trails. It was an OK ride, I just had zero energy from the BT loss. Today is sunny, but again it'll only be low 50s in the afternoon, and NASCAR is today... so IDK if we're gonna ride any trails.

The 606 are doing great on the road. On the trails, however... IDK, they just don't feel like they have much bite in the dirt. I know I'm not a racing superstar, but I just don't have any confidence in their ability to bite. They just feel like they wanna turn sideways and plow instead of gripping. They do 1000x better than stock, and they generally haven't spit me off (they have a few times, though), I just don't feel terribly confident on them. The back end will break loose, and the front end doesn't bite, it just seems to dig in. That might be my inability to ride, but IDK.

Poor dad.... he had been running real knobbies... Pirelli Scorpion Pro and Kenda Trackmaster II; he switched over to these since we ride so much roads. He knew it would be a step down, and he hasn't wiped out yet, but I know he doesn't like them. When we wear these out, I'm going for full knobbies.
