I was just over at Ride Now and came across this:




For the KLX300. From the picture, it looks like the frame case guards are covered by the plate. The price is decent. No I have not ordered one, I just spent a bit more money there. Got to start saving again.

Before you order, ask someone on the phone if that's the actual photo. The MSR plate for the KLX300 is flat. That may be a generic photo.

 

If you look in my post (just a few down from this one) you'll notice that the bends in this one match the bends pretty close to the one I fabbed up.....and mine fits pretty tight along the whole frame (though I do have some thin rubber on mine where it hits the frame to stop vibration and eventual rust).

Looks like it would attach alright.

 

This one is not bad but i dont like the way it connects to the frame. I like the direct bolt on type. I think those brackets will cause alot of noise and vibration if you dont get them really tight.
