I ordered mine 2 minutes after the e-mail around 11:00 pacific, and yes you have to press the add button to get the discount. I thought there was two different choices. I'm glad the one that was shown had the ears on it.

 

Just ordered mine. Put in the code, hit the add button and it went right through.
