I'm telling you that you seem to be well within our area, contact EMS and we will likely be riding together this year! We always have groups around laurel mountains and out that way, and Connelsville area has a gathering.

I don't want to go with the big pig 600's-650's. But the 400 sounds to be a good medium. Would love a Katoom or that other really cool looking Euro bike, but that costs $$$$ I don't have

By the by, heres the Craigs list add. I have to add new pics, these pics are old. I'm going to try to snap a few today if I get around to it. I'll get'm over the next few days for sure. Not a whole lot has changed, but its good to keep it current.

A 351 cc kit will run near as good as a DRZ and be lighter and with a nice 6 speed trans and < $600
I just got a 250 and need someone near Altoona to ride with.

Well it is a good time of year to start selling a bike. People are getting spring fever, and thinking about motorcycles etc.

LOL That's the first thing you think, but another way to look at it is that he didn't have 15 different guys calling and then not showing up when they said they would, or guys with no money just out looking. etc etc. I think he got a decent price for it, and both he and the buyer should be happy. Nice to wrap it up quick.

LOL yeah, exactly. I hate when people waste your time. And thats exactly what I was afraid of. I was shocked when this guy actually brought cash with him. And I wanted to keep everything in check, because I'm always lecturing others when they think what they have is worth ten million bucks. I didn't want to do the same. And people being stubborn and not accepting reasonable offers, then being stuck with the machine for a year. Like if you want $3000 and someone offers you $2700 cash, you take it. That $300 is more easily earned working or collecting soda cans than it is worrying and waiting for a sale that may never happen. But its easy to judge others, not so easy to judge yourself. And this guy actually told a story or two of some bikes he looked at where that was kind of the case. He said he wanted to slap the one guy for completely wasting his time and basically lieing to him.

Thanks for the input though, everyone... And I'll be posting updates on what to get next...or when. Shopping is fun, selling sucks. This is the way of things lol.
