The Scotts web site has listed a weld on kit for the 07 klx300.

Anyone have any experience with one on their 300 or 250?

Bolt on or weld on, but the amount of room between the tank and head tube is minimal. So might only be room for the weld on kit maybe?

I have a Scotts with a bolt on post on my KLX300. It is a very tight fit and sits right up next to the gas tank but I have had no problems with it.The weld on post should fit with a little more room. As far as the 300 goes all they offer is the top mount application with either stock clamps or Scotts/BRP clamps. I am running the BRP clamps with my set up.

 

Anyone have a pic of a weld on post on their 300 or 250 to show how much room is available in front of the tank & steering head. Mucho appreciattoe AgoosSS, Mike
