Sagent to have new wide seat for KLX this summer

Still, it looks like it may be the best option.
its comfy, but im interested to see if the wider seat pan matters .. i sit way forward up against the tank.. plz let me know how that seating position feels after a half hour.. if ur nuts dont get numb and you are still not in pain, i will be very interested in the seat
Guys, I'm a newbie on this forum and have had my '09 KLX for about a month, having put about 500 miles on it. I hated the stock seat so ordered a Sargent. It came in yesterday, I installed it, and have rode it twice for about a half hour each time. So far, the jury is out. It is not particularly soft and in fact, I think it is similar to the stock seat in terms of firmness but that is probably a good thing for trail riding. The wider pan should help, in theory, but so far...I'm just not sure. I'm heading out this afternoon for an extended ride and will report back.
guys, I went for a 90 minute ride this afternoon for the sole purpose of testing the seat. I rode all street, no trail. So far, is the Sargent better than the stock...yes. Is it $300 better...I don't know. I sit forward on the seat but could still feel the widened pan under my ****...so I guess that is a good thing and should help. I didn't feel the need to stand on the pegs during the ride and my **** wasn't completely numb when I finished but by the same token, I didn't feel like I had been sitting in my recliner either. Did my *** hurt? yes. But it wasn't killing me like the stock seat. Sargent says it will break in with use, so we'll see.
