it was good riding, but too many rocks for me... i like the mud. The rocks get me paranoid about a pinch flat so i go slower...

 

Rocks are tough, no doubt. Its all we have up here. I havent gotten a flat yet, but someone usually does when we go. I guess its all part of the game.

 

Super report, Makes me want to load up and drive out there and do some riding. Maybe 8 hr tops to Pa.

No need to go slower. The Pirelli guys at our local races say 13 in front and 12 in the rear will guard against pinch flats in even the worst of conditions. If you're really paranoid go 14 and 13. They are real sticklers for proper pressure - I asked a simple question about air pressure and got a 15 minute answer about tire flex, sidewalls, and way more than I bargained for. lol And then he set my tire pressure with their $250 pressure gage and said my cheap $5 digital gage must be off by 1.5 lbs - "You're definitely not getting the most from your tires with the pressure off by that far." Not that I'd be able to tell, lol.
