Here's a link to my pics from my ride up to Sequoia last weekend.
I was originally going to take Gumby (my beloved 500R), but my front tire was getting pretty worn and rain suddenly appeared in the forecast, so I ended up riding Zed (my trusty 9R) instead.

If you ever make it to Bakersfield, there are some stellar roads and scenery East and Northeast of there.

I made it from Brooklyn to Bear Mountain over Memorial Day Weekend on a scooter with the New York Scooter Club - a troupe of scooter and motorcycle lovers. Those twisties scared the daylights out of me! Loved every minute, though. Next goal is to get there on my 500R!
