Allegheny National Forest Ride
Well most of my riding buddys all packed thier bikes up and rode 150miles up to marienville pa, Allegheny national forest. Because of my gearing i decided to haul the klx up in the truck saturday morning, they rode up friday. 3, drz400s, 3 dr350's, 1 1100gs, 1 990 ktm adv, 2 klx's.
onto when i get there, after breakfast ready to go....
the camp
the 2 fastest bikes out there that day....
all happy before the fall....
me playin in the mud again......
and again....
doh!!!
me and mark parking to help him lift that heavy pig...
he wasnt too pleased about the scratches on his 2007, $15,000 bike....
we did the "atv" trails with the 990, then when we hit the "bike' trails he took off back to camp... awsome stuff..

i was surprised the adv hung around as much as he did... actually the gs guy realized what kinda ride it was gonna be and he was older, so he didnt come into the woods with us, he rode up and camped and hung around had a good time, but didnt ride into the woods.

Holy cow, I can reply to a post again! I may just sh*t my pants!
Looks like you guys had fun Eric. If you're ever up this way again, let me know. You're only about 30 miles from my house. I haven't made it out to the ANF yet this year, but I'm definitely going out during the week of July 4th. How was the bike trail compared to the ATV trail? I ride out there with either my girlfriend or my 60-year-old dad. Neither want to ride the bike trail, and I'm leary ofriding out there by myself.

Ah mustang.... ya gotta join our local forum... i think we are planning another ride up to there.. it was great.
The atv trails were boring... i could have got my truck down them, now the bike trail was sweet!!!!! it was still a quad width, but much more fun, lots of change in elevation and curves, rocks..... nothing too crazy.... but man was it fun.
