Ride Report from this spring.
So I was putting the finishing touches on the living room, you know, hanging pictures, ornaments and all that stuff (I have some major brownie points earned BTW). Only thing left were the curtains. So there I was, hanging curtains and the sun was darn near burnin' me corneas out when I had a revelation: "What the heck am I at??!!!" This just ain't right.
So I quickly finish up and head out to play around on the KLX for an hour.
Plowed gravel roads are out in full bloom where the sun can get at 'em.
A shot of Hickman's Harbour Big Pond Road.

Some nice to spin around on the gravel I tell yas.
Ummmmm........I'm not quite sure what I'm at here
:

Yes, Ladies and Gentlemen this is genuine, 100 %, tee-totally pure mud ya see here. Gotta luv it!!! :exci: :

Done a whole bunch of spinning around at the local gravel pit.
So close, but yet so far......

Pond road just past Petley. Don't get to far in til ya see this:

Won't be long tho before the ground start peeping thru.Oh well it was fun I must say. Time to head back home and throw a few steaks on the ol' barbie.....

Two things I learned today:
#1: Snow can cover in a good sized hole. Beware of sudden drops. Luckily I was going slow or I woulda ended up over the bars.
#2: Sometimes ya gotta be going at least 80 km/h before centrifugal force removes snow from the front rim. When you're not expecting this....it's quite the rush!!!!
Again, thanx for lookin'.
