Default Ride report: French Gulch CA

so me and my buddy jake had never riden the trails out in french gulch. which is just outside of redding. So we startet at about 1000' elevation and went up to probly 4-5000' im guessing. it was really fun we went past a active mine and a little ways past it there was a cave that went alooong ways, we didnt go in cuz we didnt bring flashlights. a couple steep hills and single track switch backs up and down a HUGE hill that was rather steep. unfortunatley didn t have time to stop and take a pic at that. heres the pics....

Nice ride man. One day we'll have to get together for a ride. I have been busier this last year than any other in my life. Years back I drove the French Gulch road out to Trinity Center. It's a nice area. I had also planned a trip to the coast on hwy 36 this summer but between my leaking gasket, work, and work (oh and the wife and kids) I will not get to it this summer and probably not this year unless the weather stays warm into October...

Nice pics.

Dang, I wanna ride. I would complain about the hot day. But it is a cool 97 degrees out right now, I am enjoying this cool weather as a break from the 114 at the Hoover Dam on Friday. The Hoover is Dam impressive

I'd love to take a road trip up North. Touch B.C. and back... yea!!

Looks like a beautiful place to ride. Tell me it was nice a cool out too
Thanks for sharin'
