Well today I got my license and finally took the bike out on the road. My neighbor has a honda rebel so he went riding with me. I have opened her up a couple of times to 6,000 RPMs in the neighborhood, but I had to really open her up today on every gear today, but anyone that is sane and wants to stay alive, you have to rip that throttle and get going before traffic gets to you, what nonsense, 4,000 RPMs in the 1st 600 miles, thats gonna get someone killed. I couldnt even do that in my neighborhood and ride safe, definatley not out on the road, my god. Anyways its insane how the wind will blow you around going 60 M.P.H with all the cars passing you. But I enjoyed it, still I like it better on the trails lol. I think I will take it out to some trails now.

Well in the situation that I rode in today, I had no choice but to do what the above link described, I opened her up all the way in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4rth, not in 5th or 6th, it was ok there. But man, this bike can stop extremly quickly. I also took her out today on a real trail out in the woods, she got her 1st bath today since me and her both were covered in mud. I had to drive her up to the trails though, I told my wife I was going to drive the motorcycle up there, about a 45 minute drive, and I could see the "Before you do, I will kill you" look in here eyes, so I just loaded it up in the truck and hauled it there. I'm having a blast though.
