Especially in northern Japan when it's already freezing.

Yeah, we're close to those temps right now. I have a base issued licence, so my riding will be cut-off from November 15 through Mach 31(not that I don't bend the rules a few times), but the heated gear really comes in handy right now and through all of April...which doesn't feel like 'Spring' at all.

I spend almost all of my time on the pavement, so I'm looking for an H4 based Hi/Lo beam setup. Also, the H4 based HID draws only 35w, so I'd have more of a cushion for running my heated vest and grips.

That's how it is for a motard rider in his late 40's
They do have relatively cheap H-4 version which uses the same lens and reflector as their "Tecate" HID racelight, this is the one I bought. Just with their standard 55 watt bulb the difference was dramatic, with a phillips 100 watt white bulb...just wow.

You could always slip an aftermarket HID H-4 High/Low kit in this high quality lens and I may someday.

Pic of it, I put on their black one, and yes the white sticker peals right off.

This is the headlight we use in most of our dual sport kits, enduro lighting kits, and Tecate racelight kits. Note that this headlight when sold separately does not include any bike specific wiring or wiring instructions. Please call or email our tech department for questions regarding the installation of this headlight on your bike.

Oh, I see. I guess I didn't look hard enough. I thought all they had was the complete DS kits or the 4 - 8 inch round racing lights. I'll search a little harder when I go back to the site. Thanks!

No,... I'm slacking,... I know. But I still fully intend to before winter is over.

I'm going to get on the ball with it. Its not a big deal, so I'm not super worried about it. Just pull the thing off and have it machined down....no biggee.

I've done plenty of reading on this forum, awesome place.

Has someone got the details of how much weight they've taken off the KLX flywheel?
Cheers.
