Rear Break Squeking

Rear Break Squeking
I have recently noticed that my rear brake has started to squeal and squeak. This is happening whether I apply the brakes or not! If I roll the bike in neutral I can hear it. Any ideas on how I could fix this I’d rather not buy new brakes right now money is kind of tight 😬 Thanks!

You might have gravel stuck between the brake pads and rotor. Try pushing the caliper piston in and flush with water. This is assuming your pads are not worn out and down to metal on metal.

That and sand the brake pads with some 80 grit sandpaper. You could scuff the rotor a bit too. Certainly won't hurt.
Also grease the pins) the caliper slides on, it floats as well as a really light coat on the pins that hold the pads. That allows the caliper to move and the pads to retract easier. It is possible the caliper is hanging up.

If those don't do the trick...
pull the caliper and push on the brakes to see if the pads/pistons are working properly/extending correctly and EVENLY. If not pull the pads and clean the pistons with something like wd40 something that won't affect the piston seals. Push the pistons back to their original position, extend the pistons again. Clean again if needed. Sand the pad pins like was said above if they have any irregularities then grease lightly and reinstall everything.
Hopefully your brakes won't be hindered causing any noises.
