Here's a pic of them on my bike:

Have you got any photos from the side. In other words are the braces visable.

Just go here:

check out the second picture you will see how much they are visible. I like how they bolt to the frame so if you hit somethin big the rad is not going to rotate at all. Kind of like barkbusters for your radiator

+1 on the Unabiker Guards. Mine just arrived this week. Still waiting for my new radiator. Impaled a stick through the left rad 2 weeks ago. Left me stranded with no cell phone coverage.

Thanks for that. Mine is an 09 model and it appears the braces will be even less visible.

You're right. On the '09, the braces are barely visible. Here's a side view of my bike. Most of the brace is obscured by the red tank shroud.

OK, after dropping my bike this weekend and thinking that I'd damaged the radiator, I have decided to get guards. My dealer has the Scorpions which look the goods, so that's what I'll get. Great suggestion, thanks.

Nice looking guards! I like the zip-tied registration sticker, too...good idea!

Yeah, I picked that tip up on the first ride I did with this bike. Laminated the rego sticker then zip tied it on.
