I ran all last year without the lid, but am now hoping to get the 351 tuned with lid and KDX snorkel. We'll see.

Probably as cheap to get the snorkel from Kaw, than anywhere else. Best I've seen it discounted was about equal to the shipping cost.

Someone posted this link a few days ago: DynoJet Stage 1 & 2 Jet Kit for Kawasaki KLX 250 S 09-10 The price beats RM ATV by quite a bit. I ordered mine last week from JC Motors.

Does the stage 2 jet kit cover you if you decide to do a big bore later on as well?

Yes. And that's a good price on the DJ kit. I paid about $55 from my little local dirt bike shop.

I paid 55 bucks for the DJ kit. Tore the bike apart to get the carb out. I know there was a thread on it, but in the end it's out. What scares me is there was a few small grains of sand in the carb to airbox tube. Carb throat looked clean, actual motor intake looked clean and felt clean. The rest of the tube was clean, just a few particles on one side. Hoping it got in there some how when removing the carb. Tmrw when the kit comes in i'll open up the carb and look her over.
