Ok maybe I'm confused.....but isn't the azz end of our bike supposed to slide around.

I really like the tmII's but on a hard pack road theysuredo slide around alot ... I just gas it more, don't most? .....but in da sand they roost. Good tire in my book and it can take some asphalt without wearing out.

good tire ya id agree.. but 1000 miles on a rear doesnt fall into some asphalt in my book. id say these tires are more suited for some1 thats usin the bike just to get to a dirt area and nothing else... if ya dont mind burnin tires up their great. i went through 3 rears and 1 front last year.

Wow jsac... you're getting a lot less use out of one than I am. My current tmII....I have almost 3k miles on with a serious chunk on aspahlt and it is basically done but....I'm curious what ourdifferences are in riding style?

Do you think they are selling us the same tire?

How much did ya get out of the stock 303..... I only got about 900 miles out of it.

to be honest i cant remember what i got out of the stock tire... i think i pulled it before i toasted it. it was straight up terrible off road and i couldnt deal with the lack of traction. i dont know if im overly aggressive on my riding or what. (ok i admit it.. i get off when flat tracking!) alot of people are surprised at the lack of milage im getting out of my tires. i do have an obsession with having the bike sideways WFO on anything other than blacktop with the rear spinning. i also do a large chunk of blacktop miles. i prob ride 75/25 road/dirt. the terrain i ride may also have something to do with it as most trails are covered with coal culm here which is downright nasty **** on tires.. its a normal thing to look at my rear tire and see halves or entire ***** sliced right off after a hard ride up here. im runnin the 606's right now so we'll see how they last tho i have 0 complaints so far in the traction department.

to clarify i consider a tire toast when they hit 30% or less thread. if i was rich id call loss of a sharp edge on the leading surface of the ***** toast [8D]
