Default Kenda Trackmaster II's

i'm looking for some new tires, still on the stock ones. riding in the mud yesturday & it wasn't very fun. i found these online for cheap. $150 front & rear (i'm from canada). i've read reviews & they seem to be 50/50 but none of those people had a klx250. so wondering does any one here have trackmasters on their bike? & how do you find them?
thanks

I'd say they are more 90-10 with an off road bias.

They work good in the dirt but are squirrely leaned over on the pavement. Be a big improvement over the stocker off road.

I just picked up a K760 from the shop I used to work at that came from Tucker/Rocky wholesalers, one of the biggest wholesalers out there...not an old stock deal. Their catalog and this tire had no mention of a Trak Master II. In fact it has Trak Master and K760-SX on the sidewall. It's a six-ply DOT tire. I searched and really didn't fine a clear deal on this "SX" moniker. Mikey, do you have the tires in hand and do yours have any SX label? Anyone know what it refers to?

I have them - I love them. They are the best DOT knobby I've found for the terrain up here in the NE.

I got them for $105 out the door MOUNTED!

wheel'n and deal'n

I agree. The big lugs on the side walls tend to rollover. I always explained it "It feels like your on ice when cornering."

I got them from http://www.rockymountainatv.com/prod...dFamilyId=5395 and use them hard up here in the PNW & and they are holding up really good, I was also surprised to find out how well the Kenda 270's http://www.rockymountainatv.com/typeDetail.do also do for traction I switch back and forth between the 2 sets

I got my from http://traxms.com/Motorcycle_Product...enda_K760.html and as you can see I got them for a great price. If you are looking to play out in the woods, these are the tire. If you do a lot of street riding, look elsewhere due to they are very soft and may last 1k with that type of riding. I have found that putting them down to 12 psi seems to make them stick to anything and I don't mind changing my tires every 1k considering how much I really ride this bike.
