I'm going with Clarke is to blame over Kawi on this one too.

Yep, no way our bikes are that different... Frame tolerances are on the order of1/16 or 1/32 of an inch, maybe 1/8...
These Clarke tanks seem to be out by 1/4 to 3/8 inch or more in some cases.

The 2 bikes I fitted a Clarke tank to were the same.
The fit either tank on either bike was the same. Poor IMHO.

I wonder if the bike they used as a model, was in someway not right?
I believe that was somebody from this forum.

If you look at the pic on there website the fit seem to be top notch. I wonder if something happened when they went from there prototype mold to there production mold.

My first one fit worse (Blacked and leaked) 2nd (natural) fit alot better.
