Will a Q4 slip-on for a 94-07 KLX250R fit on an '09 250S? Please help before I lose a deal...

Thanks West OZ. I was only wondering, because FMF lists two seperate part #s.

 

It does not fit, I have one in hand that I have bought for my 09 KLX250S.
the stock exhaust have a 1 3/16" OD tube that plugs in to the header, the FMF Q4 042174 have a 1 3/4" OD tube, the tube is also 2" too short and touches directly to the plastic airbox. I will put it up for sale.

I need expert advice please, if I buy a power Bomb header for my KLX250S would it fit with the FMF Q4 #042174 made for a KLX250R?

 

If someone have an idea how to reduce the size of the FMF pipe to fit the stock header of the KLX it would be great, I have checked for a reducer fitting but I can't find one.

 

Did you try FMF directly? Give them a call. They should be able to tell you.

I think it was discussed many times. FMF for KLX250/300 till 2007 will not fit klx250 US models 2009-on. However it will fit Australian models because they have headers with bigger diameter. If you get powerbomb or other header for US models it will be different story...
