Default pilot jet?

Hey fellow KLXer's Going to order fmf header and powercore soon and install a 220 snorkle. I will be using a DJ jet kit but should I up the pilot too?

Stock the bike needs to be good and warn to ride and sometimes need choke to start when it has cooled for just a little bit. I am at sea level.

Thanks

That really depends on the elevations your living and riding in.. You don't show a location on your profile..

Ok, a #38 or #40 would apply to sea level. I'm running a #40 @ 700' ASl. This will allow you to set your pilot system AFR as rich or lean as you want - This AFR applies to idle, deceleration, and certain other situations of high vacuum operation - such as putting along in second gear @ 3-4K rpm.. Unless your getting a lot of decel popping, that the stock pilot won't fix by backing out the fuel screw (assuming your exhaust has no leaks), you could just run the stock #35 you already have.. I ran my #35 @ 3.5 turns out until recently..

The pilot system never goes away and will richen up your AFR across the board if you go larger than stock. I would go either 38 or 40.
