Default Pics and Vid of my Muzzy exhaust

Other than a few "duh" moments on my part, this was the easiest mod I've done to the bike. It is also by far the biggest performance impact. It's like a whole different bike. Well worth my money. WAY more power low-end and up high. Now the KLX sounds like a real dirt bike, too. Rode a bunch of gravel roads, fire breaks, and double-tracks. Offroad, I was able to carry TONS more speed than before, because I could shift up and not fall out of the power band. With the stock pipe, I had to keep it revving very high for any power.

I know its not just butt-dyno, either, because my dad rode my bike a few weeks ago.. I let him ride it again this weekend and he noticed a big difference.

Its very loud when you gouge on it, but to me it doesn't drone when just cruising.

Two brief videos... they're on FB but they're public.

(Can't believe my iPhone takes better video than my 7 year old Canon. Oh wait... yes I can)

What a pile of crappy sheet metal. I'd rather use an Edsel muffler from Pep Boys than one of those setups. Couldn't you find something decent?

Id probably go with an FMF can because of the noise, but the Muzzy header looks really nice! Ive read about many people having trouble with their FMF header. I wonder if the Muzzy header fits on the FMF pipe?

Thanks for the pictures. I had no idea what the Muzzy header looked like. It looks very well engineered especially that it uses the standard heat shield.

I really like the fact that the Muzzy header utilizes mounts for the factory heat shield!
