Wow, buying this (relatively cheap) bike on credit, and gear to boot?!

Must be Americans...

And the clincher is that the card can only be used at a Kawasaki dealership. It isn't a standard credit card. I went to get my gear online and realized the card didn't have any expiration date and doesn't have a lender logo like Visa or anything. I emailed HSBC and they informed me that it can only be used at a dealership.

Three weeks or less, they don't waste any time getting you started on those payments. LOL

Well you will get a statement, use it for the first couple of payments, until you can get the automatic thing going. I pay all my bills on-line through BOA (Bank of America) You can add a merchant if its not listed. I just noticed that the Kawasaki and the Yamaha billing address are the same. If you don't have a checking account then you better get a money order out in the mail, allow for 5-10 days for it to get there.

How long after you bought the bike did you get the First Statement. Thanks...

I did the 0 down 0 payments and 0% interest for 6 month deal. I got it in early April and only put down the $500 deposit that the dealer asked for so I will owe them $4500 or so in October. [:@]

The whole amount will be due then or I will be clubbed with a 17.9% interest. I will have the money then but if my other credit card offers a low APR transfer offer, I may just do that. I assume that the Kawi card is like a regular credit card that you can pay off with another credit card with a lower APR and just transfer it over?
