I would suggest new bars too, drilling the stock plug takes a long time, and a very sharp drill bit.

Default welcome

have a look at the moose stuff. i also put a set on my wifes
tt-r 125 they fit pretty good. i put renthall fat bars on my
klx and standard size bars on the 125. no big hassle's to
fit them just routing the cables.

have fun it won't be the last mod you do.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new bike! You'll love the bike-can't beat its versatility. I got mine July 08 and used it mostly to commute to work and it actually made going to work more enjoyable. You picked a great place to research this bike-many in this forum know this bike inside and out and they are always quick to help you with the info you need. +1 on green! Have FUN!

G'day, welcome to the forums. You don't need to drill the plugs, just tap them to take the handguard bolts. For all I know they may be already tapped. I have BarkBuster™ Ego's. You would probably break the bike before the BarkBusters™

p.s. ignore the headlight it was just something I tried and returned to the shop

Welcome to the forums! I, too, had to wait for a green, but I had to wait for over a month. I'm with you; I didin't want a Honda.

I love my Tusk handguards.

Welcome to the forums, congratulations on the bike and the baby. It's funny, when my son was born 12 years ago, I sold my Yamaha 750 road bike, looking back I wish I had kept it. But I was all freaked out about not being there for him if something happened. I got over that 3 years ago.
