Yep, gas in Oregon is the same as gas in Texas, is the same as gas in Michgan, is same as gas in North Carolina and the gas is the same from station to station...

Really, gas blends vary around the country as well as depending on season and the company producing the gas. Winter blend is different than summer blend.in Ohio. It affects the performance of the gas. So clearly your performance may vary.

It still comes back to the fact that not all KLX250's behave the same as this fuel, jetting, starter jet, etc. issues apply to cold starting. Some bikes have no issue with cold starts even with stock jetting and fuel older than 2 weeks. Some require starter jet drilling. Some require the fuel level to be set. Some require a "better" jetting combination than stock. Etc., etc., etc. There is no "one" issue as it pertains to cold starting with these bikes as I've said all along.

I did find a solution for hard/no start after sitting..
Run 100LL ..

Av gas will destroy any catalyst (nonissue since I run full FMF systems) and most won't have 100LL in the garage.. There's also likely a power loss due to the slow burn rate of the (unnecessary) higher octane fuel(s).

Other than this non-solution, if a KLX is hard to start after a few days sitting, draining the bowl a little or using @ekim250 's shake method are two solutions that ARE doable..

Well, if you must shake your KLX to make it start, at least do it right...

You put your right foot in,
You put your right foot out,
You put your right foot in,
And you shake it all about
You do the Hokey Pokey and you turn yourself around
That's what it's all about.
...that is if you want to start your KLX.
